We know that many of the animals brought to us at SPCA are family pets that have somehow got lost. Despite our best efforts, many of these animals are not reunited with their owners simply because they are found without identification or with out of date details.
Using blanketID tags to identify your animals is a huge help for us. The fact that blanketID sends us an immediate email that your pet is missing means that we can look out for it. The fact that the email also provides us with pictures of your missing animal makes it much easier for us to identify it - even if it is without it’s tag when brought to us.
I think this is a major step forward in helping us to quickly reunite lost pets with their families.
