Jaime Derringer
Inspired by her love for dogs, in 2010 Jaime launched modern design blog Dog Milk to expose dog lovers to pet design that fits their uniquely modern sense of style.
Jaime Derringer is also founder and editor of modern design blog Design Milk, which has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Time Out New York, San Francisco Chronicle, Singapore Home & Decor magazine, and Real Simple magazine.
Design Milk is one of the Google Engineers’ Staff Picks and a Twitter influencer in Art & Design. In addition, Jaime has been noted as an expert on design trends, speaks on design and design blogging, and is a social media consultant. She proudly lives in New Jersey with her husband, daughter and their dog, Lulu.
As an American Bulldog owner, Jaime chose local rescue Heavensent Bulldog Rescue, out of Southern New Jersey, to receive a donation. They do a lot to help bully breeds and put on a rockin’ meetup festival and fundraiser every year. Read more about what they do here.
Capree Kimball
Capree has a deep love of Victorian-era “fancy lads”, 19th Century anatomy drawings, and tin robots. She loves big, bold colors and big, bold patterns. Oh, and anything well-designed, especially if it’s something she can sit in. You can find Capree at the helm of Dog Milk, a site dedicated to modern dog design, as the Managing Editor. When she’s not gushing about cool dog stuff, she’s sharing awesome DIY decor ideas on Curbly, where she is the Deputy Editor.
Capree has long admired the incredible work that Friends of Animals Utah does in helping the dogs and cats of Utah find safe and loving homes, as well as bringing awareness to local communities. Their commitment to animal welfare is why she has chosen Friends of Animals Utah to receive donations from the sales of her tag. You can read more about them here.
